We have just had our daughters wedding ceremony and reception at Mitton Hall and it is outstanding, the location, the service the food and most importantly the staff who delivered such a first class service and experience throughout our stay. Special mention to Emma on reception and Chester who guided us all throughout the day they are a credit to Mitton Hall thank you so much. A truly memorable family wedding made so special by you all!
Lovely hotel overall. Beautiful entrance hall decorated with an enormous Christmas tree and roaring fire. Staff were friendly enough.
However, we were quite disappointed by the state of the room upon check in for the following reasons:
– The drinking glasses were clearly used and still had water in them
– the teaspoons had residue of food and had clearly been wiped with some sort of cloth leaving streaky stains
– the floor had not been hoovered
– the shower basin was cracked (filler seemed to have been applied but it looked unsightly and wasn’t fully cleaned)
– the mirror was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned
Breakfast was okay, staff were a bit short.
Sunday Lunch in such a calm, beautiful setting is a real treat and pleasure.
The food is locally sourced, served with love and perfection.
Ambience and friendliness of staff make this a real treasure of a find.
Today I was at a Christmas business event at Mitton Hall & I have to say the food was absolutely delicious.
The Christmas lunch was just beautiful & the service was fantastic.
