Booked a table last night, for four and our dog. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was one of the best plates of food I’d had in a long time. Fish cooked beautifully with crispy skin, buttery crushed new potatoes and perfectly cooked broccoli and samphire. The sauce, OMG, I nearly licked the plate. Everybody else really enjoyed their meals. You’ve got an excellent chef there producing top notch food. Waiting on staff really good too, was brilliant to see. They really knew their stuff.

The food was all delicious, the cheese courgettes, were the best we’ve ever had, compliments to the chef. Was Eight of us, and no one had anything to complain about, will definitely go again and highly recommend.
Staff were relaxed, easy going, very helpful, not pushy, gave us plenty of time to look at menu’s.

Really delicious food – cosy interior and nicely done pub! Had the festive menu and it was really reasonable for the portion sizes. Highly recommended!
Fantastic vegan menu at this country pub and not just token dishes or salad but well thought out satisfying dishes. The mushroom pudding was the star for me but all the vegan options we tried between the four of us were scrumptious. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended for vegans as many places in the Ribble Valley have either hardly any choice or the dishes are inferior but expensive.
Lovely dinner, great view and great staff. Food was amazing as always.
