First time we’ve been the White Hart for a long time and we’re very pleased we made a return visit. We were warmly greeted, quickly seated and served and the Sunday chicken dinner was simply delicious. Will return.
We have just had a superb Sunday lunch at The White Hart. The roast beef was excellent. Don’t normally go for a sweet but we were tempted by the apple crumble and weren’t disappointed with the creative take on a traditional dish. Lovely food and a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely return.
We popped in here after a walk nearby whilst visiting. It was lovely and warm with a roaring fire. We were glad to find out it was dog friendly too. We ordered the roast sharer and it was so good! There was so much food that I didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Every part of it was well seasoned and delicious. I’d definitely recommend and hope to be back again.
Fantastic Sunday lunch today – 4 of us had Sunday Roast and 2 had cheese and onion pie! All very tasty, homemade and fresh. Loads of veggies and great gravy-always a bonus! Would highly recommend
Exceptional food and amazingly tasty ! The mixed grill was amazing , perfect steak , perfect clean and freshly cooked egg, an all round banger worth the money! The starter garlic mushroom, Stilton and cheese was to die for. The battered black pudding was amazing but the curry sauce let it down in my opinion and the black pudding would have worked perfectly with the garlic mushroom starter. The kids menu is decent and a bargain with surprisingly tasty ice cream. All round 5* I saw it had a certificate for being friendly as of March 2024 and it certainly deserved it with friendly staff . Also dog friendly .
