I booked for Sunday breakfast with my husband, as vegans they offer a vegan option. Everything was absolutely spot on, from checking in ,the service and especially the food and coffee, it was all fantastic.
The vegan breakfast was excellent, they remove the egg but you can add any of the components of the breakfast as an alternative. My husband is proper fussy about coffee and he gave the Americano here a big thumbs up.
Service from the young front of house team was excellent too, so it was a great way to start our Sunday.
I’m returning with friends in two weeks to have their festive menu and chef has created vegan options for me so can’t wait to try those.
Visited for my festive vegan lunch which was gorgeous, mushrooms stuffed with roast vegetables in a tomato sauce with vegan cheese, roast potatoes and salad (I had a choice as I could also have fries or vegetables). Dessert was a banana, pecan and toffee cake which was lush. Service as usual was excellent, it’s a friendly team looking after you. I had a chat with Assistant Manager Millie and asked her to pass my thanks to the kitchen. The chefs know how to cook, the food is always full of flavour and well seasoned.
Highly recommended.

As someone with a deep appreciation for both form and function, I must say our new dining table from Loom Loft has entirely surpassed expectations. From the moment it was delivered, it was clear we’d chosen something quite special — a piece that blends timeless craftsmanship with understated elegance.
The table is close near to perfection, with just the right balance of
warmth and contemporary poise. It anchors the room effortlessly, inviting family dinners, quiet morning coffees, and the occasional impromptu wine night with friends. It’s not just a table — it’s where life happens.
It’s not often one finds such quality paired with such kindness. A huge thank you to the Loom Loft team — not only for creating such gorgeous furniture, but for making their staff feel truly valued.

Visited for lunch on Saturday having booked a table in advance. Warm welcome and great service as always. Hubby had the small fish and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had the goats cheese tart and some skinny fries. Whilst the food was delicious, I feel over time that the salad which it comes with has reduced considerably so for the price it now seems expensive. Great atmosphere today the Bistro was very busy and lots of footfall in the Loft generally.
Best prawns I ever had. Coffee ok, a bit too dark roasted. Lovely atmosphere and service.
We use the Bistro quite frequently as working locally it’s our go to option for lunch. It never disappoints. The food, service/staff and atmosphere are excellent. A daily special board has something for everyone and everything is priced competitively. If you’ve never been you’re in for a treat! Booking recommended.
