I’ve been coming here the last few years to stay with friends and previously have had really excellent experiences. This time however was a whole other level. Whilst the food itself is still good, the service is sporadic at best and downright terrible the rest of the time. Clearly they no longer have enough chefs in the kitchen and there doesn’t seem to be a manager in charge at all. The staff individually are fine and perfectly pleasant, but they have no concept of wait service and no leadership or direction.

The clipboard menu’s have random paper menu’s attached so you could end up with one of each of the bar, drinks, food. Or two of one and none of the others.

I have a dietary requirement and despite visiting multiple times over the week, not once did they have the free from desserts available. Even when I asked them to check availability before ordering and being told something was available, they would then come back and tell me, actually it wasn’t.

They have done away with Happy Hour, fine, that’s their decision. But they have brought in a loyalty star system, however nobody seems to understand it and it is not advertised.

Overall the experience here has gone massively downhill and I doubt I will be visiting again any time soon.

Loved the hindelinis food, we ate here twice and had drinks twice. Each time was really good and pleasant.

Disappointingly gone downhill. This used to be a great place to walk to and enjoy the lovely atmosphere, food and great service, but not now. Food was good with large portions but the front of house is so disorganised it really let’s the place, and chefs, down. We didn’t get what we ordered, they forgot to bring the drinks, they didn’t check the order before sending to the kitchen, or ask how we wanted our eggs plus food was missing. In the end we just upped and paid the bill (minus missing food) and left.
They really need to get a good manager in there to get back on track. Bumped in to a neighbour on the way home who said ‘its been like that for a while’. Wish we’d have seen him before we went! Such a shame.

As part of the Ribblesdale park estate we had an amazing time
The staff are amazing and as it’s connected to the site expected prices to be over the top which they definitely are not.
Food was as good as you get anywhere and beer is great (good pint of Guinness)

Highly recommend both the holiday park and Hindlinis
Not only great value and quality food but made even better by the fantastic staff who cannot do enough for you

The food was great, the portions are large and very filling. However my order came wrong, and I’ve heard from other people before I went that this has happened quite a few times for them too. They tried to fix it but still didn’t get it right. I dont know if it was because they were short staffed at the time possibly. There are deer outside the windows walking about which is lovely, however the venue itself can get quite loud if there are a few groups. I would go again as the food was delicious, hopefully my experience was a one off.
