What an absolutely amazing night at our first Christmas party at Samlesbury Hall Garden Room.
From the moment we arrived, everything was just spot on. The food was incredible, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. Every course felt special and added to the whole experience.
The atmosphere was fantastic. The live artist created such a great vibe in the room, bringing energy, warmth, and that real Christmas party feeling that makes a night unforgettable.
A huge thank you to Sharon and all the staff who worked so hard throughout the night. Every single person was helpful, welcoming, and made us feel truly looked after. You could tell nothing was too much trouble, and that makes all the difference.
It was an amazing night from start to finish, one we will be talking about for a long time.

A Hidden Gem in Blackburn – Highly Recommended

I’ve been visiting the Salmesbury Heritage Café weekly for the past month after my morning walks, and it’s quickly become a favourite spot. The café has a lovely, fresh feel with plenty of greenery and both indoor and outdoor seating options, which makes it a perfect place to relax.

The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Janet usually serves us, and she’s absolutely wonderful—always greeting us with a smile and making sure we’re well looked after. It’s those little touches that make a big difference.

Our go-to is the granola, which we order every time—it’s just that good! We’ve also really enjoyed the fruit teacake and eggs on other visits. Everything is clean, fresh, and beautifully presented.

If you’re in the area or passing nearby, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. It’s a hidden gem that’s well worth a visit. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Had an impromptu breakfast at The Garden Room at Samlesbury Hall. What a gorgeous place. It was a warm sunny day so the bifold doors were open and a gentle breeze was billowing the curtains. The cafe was very quiet as it was a Thursday morning in term time but that was fine. The lady serving us was friendly and accommodating. There was nice relaxing music creating just the right atmosphere. Food was amazing, I had the full breakfast but removed some items, I was offered another item to replace them which was a really nice touch. Delicious good quality produce and the nicest black pudding I’ve had. Will definitely come back.
