We had such a lovely afternoon here … party of six, food was just fabulous, the salad was out of this world ,,, the staff made us feel right at home. I can’t find any fault & cannot wait to return.

Dashing to get out of the rain, 6 drowned rats were welcomed into this lovely little place. The food was absolutely amazing and so was the service. What a wonderful find! We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mansells and will 💯% be going back!

Lovely little cafe in a pleasant courtyard just off the main street in Clitheroe. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered the steak mushroom and ale pie and was somewhat disappointed with what arrived at the table. Whilst the flavours were good and the filling tender, the presentation was not what I expected. When ordering a pie I expect either an individual pie or a slice from a larger pie. What I received was a plate of pie filling with the smallest triangle of puff pastry on top. It was more of a deconstructed pie, very disappointed. If I’d known I’d have chosen something else from the menu. However, can’t fault the quality.
Great place for a coffee and a cake or for a full meal. Loved their soup of the day as well! All the food has great value and very tasty
