Important information before you go
There are a few rules visitors need to know before arriving.
All bags will be subject to a bag search, and visitors are asked not to bring alcohol, dogs, bikes, fireworks or sparklers into the event.
With a large crowd expected, it’s worth allowing plenty of time to arrive, get through the entrance and find your spot before the evening gets underway.
And, this being November in the Ribble Valley, warm layers, sturdy footwear and a waterproof are probably sensible additions!
Supporting local causes
As well as being a brilliant community night out, the Clitheroe Castle Bonfire and Fireworks helps support the local area.
The organisers say all proceeds from the event go to local groups and charities, so buying a ticket also helps support organisations doing good work around the Ribble Valley.
Make an evening of it in Clitheroe
If you’re travelling into Clitheroe for the fireworks, why not make a little more of your visit?
Arrive earlier and explore Clitheroe town centre, grab something to eat or warm up with a drink before heading towards the Castle. Afterwards, Clitheroe’s pubs, bars and restaurants offer plenty of options for rounding off the evening.
