Beer lovers, music fans and anyone looking for a great summer weekend in the Ribble Valley should mark their calendars for the Holmes Mill Beer Festival, taking place from 10th to 12th July 2026 at the iconic Holmes Mill in Clitheroe.
Celebrating 10 years of beers, good times and unforgettable weekends, this year’s festival promises to be the biggest and best yet.
A Weekend of Beer, Music and Festival Atmosphere
Set within one of Lancashire’s most popular food and drink destinations, the festival will feature more than 60 beers alongside delicious food and a packed programme of live entertainment throughout the weekend.
Whether you’re a dedicated craft beer enthusiast or simply looking for a lively day out with friends and family, there’s plenty to enjoy.
Holmes Mill has become a cornerstone of Clitheroe’s social scene, combining a historic Victorian textile mill with a modern brewery, beer hall, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Its famous Bowland Beer Hall is home to one of the longest bars in Britain and provides the perfect setting for a summer beer festival.
Festival Highlights
Friday 10th July – Festival Kick Off
The celebrations begin with a special Beer Hall Session from 8pm to 10pm, featuring live music from Kiki.
If the Lancashire weather behaves itself, the festivities will continue outdoors as the festival officially gets underway.
Saturday 11th July – Main Festival Day
Saturday is the centrepiece of the weekend, with live entertainment running throughout the day.
Festival-goers can enjoy performances from Reunion Jack, Fat Cat Brass Band and The Outside, alongside plenty of opportunities to sample beers from across the region and beyond.
Sunday 12th July – Final Pours
The weekend concludes with a relaxed afternoon of live music featuring Millie Mac and Tom Scothern from midday until 4pm.
It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a final drink, soak up the atmosphere and make the most of any remaining festival tokens before the event closes.

While the beer is undoubtedly the star attraction, the festival is designed to offer something for everyone.
Food will be available throughout the weekend, and the vibrant atmosphere makes it an ideal event for groups, couples and visitors exploring the Ribble Valley.
