We visited a nearby camp site and visited for meals two days running. The food, the service and hospitality were all 100%.
It’s also a beautiful pub in a beautiful village. They also made our 2 Spaniels most welcome.
1st of all, Fantastic staff! All very friendly and helpful.
Sunday lunch was excellent. Very well presented, lovely pink beef, great Yorkshire pudding, veggies were superb.
Very reasonably priced.
Starter and dessert were also lovely.
We’ll be back to try something else from their menu for sure.
What a truly wonderful experience. Despite being fully booked, Mel kindly managed to squeeze in my son Teddy and his girlfriend for his 18th birthday meal. It couldn’t have been more perfect for what he wanted. Teddy said it was the best roast he’s ever had, the service was fantastic, and he was even greeted with a birthday card.
Thank you so much to Mel and the Coach & Horses team for making his day so special, it meant so much to him, and to me too.
Had a delicious lunch here. Staff are lovely and the place is dog friendly. Our dogs very much appreciated the dog biscuits too, thank you. Would definitely recommend a visit. Calder Farm, where we’re staying had recommended the place on their notice board which is how we found it.
Booked evening meal as a couple. Choice of A La Carte or daily menu. Good choice of food and in-house micro-brewery. Prices where a bit higher than others in the area but well cooked and quality ingredients.
Well decorated hotel and attentive staff. A good find and well worth a try.
