Really recommend here, we come for food a few weeks ago and was so impressed we choose to come back. Amazing atmosphere, for couples family’s and friends it suits everyone, great food and great service your not waiting long for anything and the quality of food is very good.
My grandma had quite an accident last year and this is the first time she’s been out of the house since the end of 2024. She was beaming the whole time and so impressed with the fish platter (she can be quite picky) I cannot thank-you enough for the best birthday!
Nothing to fault at all the food was so tasty and brought as soon as it was ready the girls serving food were so polite and all of them looked on the ball. Thankyou for a lovely night yet again.

Just had a family meal here at it was very nice. Menu was extensive, difficult to choose. Everyone was happy with their food. The kids enjoyed their deserts. One criticism i have is the manager, who was really quite rude when we asked to be seated. I also saw him grilling one of the of the bar staff over the way she was pouring a pint. Other than him, we enjoyed our afternoon.

We came across this pub ehilst out for a walk whilst staying in the area.

The food was lovely and the log fire was a welcome site on a cold day.

There is an area where dogs are able to go, which was a must for us as we had two dogs with us.

The food was wholesome and tasty.

Very enjoyable evening… chips were a little too salty… but that’s the only fault I could find with it… all in all, a great evening spent with family over a delicious plate of food

The service is always great here, staff are funny and friendly. I’ve ate here quite a few times and never had a bad meal. Tonight we had the sharing board with the additional ham hock bites, I would definitely recommend this! Even if you want to pop in for a drink, there is a bar area which is comfortable with a working fireplace in place.
