Popped over for some lunch and had a lovely meal with the family. All the staff were very friendly and service overall excellent. Food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious.
The kids burger and chips went down well. The fish pie and fish & chips were also very nice.
Can highly recommend for some drinks or food.
We had an evening meal here tonight, definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a while and has taken the top spot for our first choice when eating out. The starters were huge, quality of ingredients was excellent and everything was cooked perfectly. The prawns were large, plump and juicy. Garlic mushroom starter was really tasty, the garlic bread which came with it was possibly the best garlic bread we’ve ever had. Fish was so soft and fresh. Service was excellent. Couldn’t fault it.
So glad we found this place. We had a little village road trip and had planned a pit stop here. But on arrival, seeing the food and the welcoming staff we decided to stay and eat. Oh my goodness it was delicious!! Steak sandwich cooked perfectly. Haddock fish cakes were Divine. Staff were friendly and efficient. Absolutely worth the little detour due to the road closure.
We visited today after visiting our friends at Melt. The lady there asked if we planned lunch somewhere, and then suggested we try The Lower Buck Inn.
We headed over and are soooo glad we did.
Set in a beautiful, quiet village nestles this gem.
Delightful cosy pub, with the staff giving a welcome as warm as their blazing fires.
Food was just divine as was the wine!
Just absolutely Delightful.
We enjoyed a very relaxed lunch of the most delicious food.
Really didn’t want to tear ourselves away.
Checked in on social media whist dining and already friends are planning a visit.
We’ll definitely be back.

We went to the lower today for lunch. I can honestly say the food was incredible. Steak sandwich cooked medium rare as requested.It was divine. We had a side of pepper sauce for the fries, both the fries and the sauce were delicious. I eat all over the country and this is right up there with the best. Thank you for having us ❤️
