We spend New Year’s Eve at The Millstone, Mellor as a group of 14 and had a fantastic experience. The staff struck the perfect balance of being highly professional while also exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable, and Rachael and her team went above and beyond to make us all feel truly at home. We would highly recommend this hotel. The food was excellent too!
Great hotel, with bar restaurant on ground floor. Rooms are very cosy , nice bed , easy sleep. Bathroom etc clean and very nice to use. Homely feel rather than a hotel, which was a bonus. Staff were brilliant and attentive. Location is great and great views.

This is a really great place to stay. The decor of the bar and dining areas is lovely while the room itself was tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The mince pies and Christmas card were a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and piping hot.

I had a great stay here. The room was large, nicely furnished, and very quiet, which made for a very comfortable and restful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast and the restaurant food were both delicious and of good quality, offering a nice variety to start the day well. Highly recommended!
Group of 14 of us stayed New Year’s Eve at The Millston and had a wonderful evening. Thete were plenty of staff and they were all very professional and friendly.
