We decided to try The New Inn for a meal and a couple of drinks after hearing about the recent renovation, and it exceeded expectations. The pub looks fantastic, the atmosphere is friendly and so cosy, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. The food was excellent from start to finish. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed pint paired with a comforting, well-prepared meal.
Always a great selection of cask ales, normally from the local area/north west etc. Served fresh, and turned quickly due total the popularity of this pub venue. Multiple small rooms inside, ideal for smaller groups. Can be lively with conversations or live music. No food but bar snacks available.
Well worth seeking out in one of the quieter areas of Clitheroe. Great choice of cask mostly from smaller breweries. As well as a few outdoor tables to the front there’s a larger beer garden to the rear.
No dining but the cask ale is Ur go-to in here..good staff too
02/10/23: Saltaire Brewery: Triple Choc stout 4.8%. Good selection of craft ale!
17/04/23: great selection of craft ales. Dog friendly. However, very surprised that they don’t allow tasters of beers. I wasn’t asking for a third, just a taste of the Coach House Brewery; Blueberry bitter. As the answer was no, I went for a pint of the Saltaire Brewery; Blonde and Pendle Brewery; Pride of Pendle, both of which we knew we liked.
